Year-round, Burswood Park is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors and step-up your exercise regime!
A permanent fitness station is located on the river foreshore adjacent to the dual use pathway, making it easily accessible for pedestrians and cyclists. It includes a chin-up bar and sit-up facility.
The park also includes more than three kilometres of high quality dual-use pathway for walkers, joggers and cyclists, including 600 metres of river foreshore pathway with city views. All pathways are fully accessible, with low gradients.
Cyclists are encouraged to abide by the Road Safety Commission's guidelines for the safety of all park users.
The central location and expansive public open spaces in the park also sees the park host a number of regular fitness and sporting groups - including cycling clubs, casual fitness groups, and larger ascetic discipline and restorative movement classes like Qi gong.
See how you can get involved!
